Bubbles the Ninja is the game's wild symbol. She can substitute for any symbol excepting the scatter symbol. She is also the jackpot symbol so, if Bubbles the Ninja appears across all five reels, one is about to receive a handsome payout.

The scatter symbol is the Shuriken, the famous ninja "throwing star". This symbol only appears on the 3rd reel but, when it does, the entire reel becomes covered in shurikens and any winning combinations that creates are awarded. The Shuriken also engages the game's bonus spin feature. Reel 3 will remain stationary, having only the Shuriken symbol, and the player spins the remaining reels.
